Anugraha Charitable Trust , a Trust registered in 1997, was the realization of a long -cherished dream, shared by five philanthropic Samajbandhavs, to channelise resources and creative energy of our society for bringing solace and succour to our less fortunate brethren. In less than a decade the Trust has grown into a full-fledged human development initiative, being active not only in providing such basic needs as food, health care, shelter and clothing to the needy; but also in outreaching to the marginalized sections, identifying and nurturing latent talents and even fostering value systems for the regeneration of a decaying social fabric.
Our Board of Trustees combine modern management techniques like grassroots surveys, data collation and interpretation etc., to identify the actual requirements of our enhanced target population — the Konkani-speaking sections of the society- and draw up well-focused schemes for reaching the aid. The implementation is also monitored closely to maximize effectiveness and ensure proper targeting and delivery.

The Track Record

Over the years, the Trust's multifarious schemes for the upliftment and enpowerment of the weaker sections of the society have drawn attention due to their simplicity of operation and uninterrupted delivery of service. This has prompted many individuals and even prominent Endowment Funds such as Devaki-Krishna Bhat, Dr Narmada & Dayananda Kamath, Palankadavu Anantha Mallya, Diwan Peshkar Madhava Prabhu etc., to repose their faith in the Trust and contribute liberally to our various schemes.
